Reminiscent of You

“Sometime you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory assuming you still possess the ability to remember.” unknown

Think about the most memorable moments in your relationship over the years, not the fights, the most profound moments that always pulls you back. That moment when he sang until you fell asleep. The snippets in time when he held the hand of the one person in your life that brings you joy and he cherished her, because he knows how much she means to you. As you watch them walking in the distance; a bag pack that barely fits over one shoulder a momentary glimpse of your family in picture frame. The deeply penetrating thoughts  perpetrated  by a serene drive and a sideway glance that arouse a smile that only your soul understands. A true Ronny Jordan  After Hour moment(check out the song). It is true what they say, ‘with the right music you either remember everything or forget everything’.

The deeply connecting human moments are what we live for. The MOMENTS, that  lights up your soul and make everything seem possible. You don’t have to live in the past,  just a momentary appreciation for a genuine human connection. A meeting of the mind and soul, one that illuminates a smile so big it touches your soul. Maybe its a stranger you’ve never met but your love for unity and life itself is like a beat you can’t ignore. Additionally its not about how long you’ve known someone but the inherent aura that  intertwine your soul. You should never settle for anything less than a feeling that awakens yours spirit, calms your soul and speak peace to your troubled waters.

Share your diary of memories, your Moment brought on by an aroma, a song or  the sway of the trees. After all you’re blessed enough to still have them.

In your writing I see a place where I’d want to be. A place where happiness enjoyed who I am. A place in the sky anticipating you telling me to jump. “Great”

Life and its many glorious moments preserved in time. Accompanied by music and laughter. We all remember those generous moments when all was well in the world.

Writing this i had to call my friend up and ask her about how we were walking each othe back and forth to our houses until we realize it was ridiculous we should just stop in the middle and both of us would run home.

Andra Day Rise up is one song that just make me cry, not a sad cry it just crabs me. sure why but just speaks to the empathetic part of my soul that longs for a time when we were better people. I know exactly what you speak of, but unfortunately we spend so much time been petty we forget to celebrate the moments
